Christmas 2020 was the perfect time to do something really silly to raise money for the Charitable Foundation, and 38 teams from HCR took part in a scavenger hunt in the last week before Christmas.
They raised more than £2,000 for the Foundation, ticking off a very wide-ranging Christmas list of items, from a partridge and some holly to bells and a reindeer. Each team paid a fee to take part, sending photos of themselves with the items as proof, and everyone received a special medal for participating.
We wanted everyone to be able to join in, and they did, with children and family pets playing their part, often in costume.
So many charities have struggled with funding since the first lockdown in spring 2020 – we wanted to help them through what has been a very difficult time for so many.
