Partnership opportunities for Chariots of Fire 2025

Cambridge’s longest-standing charitable running event is back for its thirty-fourth year and opportunities are open for local companies to become a key part of the event.
The official charity recipient for this year’s event is Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity, who are seeking to raise £75,000 to help fund their specialist children’s nurses, who support children with serious illnesses across the region.
Partnership opportunities are open to all organisations in Cambridgeshire and provide a unique way to build relationships with the local community, individuals and businesses, participating in the event, whilst supporting fundraising efforts for a great cause.
There are still openings for various levels of sponsorship available to suit all budgets, with multiple benefits including:
- Being part of an iconic annual event in Cambridge
- Increasing brand awareness
- Building relationships with other participating businesses
- Connecting with the Cambridge Colleges en route
- Meeting in person with the local community
- Promoting physical wellbeing
- Supporting fundraising for the wonderful chosen charity.
As well as branding across the event, there is also the opportunity to have a presence within the event village on Queens’ Green.

Trustee for Chariots of Fire, Colin Jones, said: “Every year, Chariots of Fire brings together the local Cambridgeshire business community to raise funds for a great charity, and this year is no exception. It’s through the generosity of our partnerships that the race has been able to raise over £1.5m since its foundation.
Local companies have a unique opportunity to champion this tradition by sponsoring this year’s race and being part of the largest charitable relay race in the county.”
This year’s race will take place on Sunday 21 September 2025 on Queens’ Green in Cambridge.
